Evaluate a fan box manufacturer to see whether it can translate your needs into working points, whether it can implement changes into drawings, whether it can provide traceable test data for the entire machine before leaving the factory, and whether it can provide usable maintenance information after delivery. These four things form a closed loop. If any link is missing, problems may arise in the project.
This is the most basic ability. The customer says, 'I want a fan box with an air volume of 8,000 and a static pressure of 600 Pa.' The manufacturer should be able to determine: what operating point does this air volume and static pressure correspond to, where does it fall on the fan performance curve, what impeller, what kind of motor, how much power is needed, and what is the approximate noise level.
If the manufacturer only replies 'We have this model, how much does it cost?' without any analysis of the working point, it means that it may only sell products by model, not by working conditions. The true selection ability is reflected in the ability to proactively inquire about the system resistance composition, filter status, operating period, and on-site power supply conditions, and then convert this information into verifiable working points.
Aili Industry has independent supporting capabilities in fans, motors, controls and sheet metal structures. It can calibrate impellers, motors, drivers and boxes at the same working point. This internal collaboration from the power end to the complete machine structure means that the working point analysis is not a paper calculation, but can correspond to the actual manufacturable and testable complete machine solution.
What non-standard projects fear most is chaotic change management. It was said at the scene that the air outlet had been changed to the side, the manufacturer's drawings had not been updated, production was based on the old drawings, and the equipment could not be installed after it arrived at the site. Or the control interface has been temporarily changed, the electrical diagram has not been changed, and the on-site wiring does not match.
When evaluating manufacturers, you can ask a few questions: Who confirms design changes? How to manage drawing versions? Should the fan matching be rechecked after the change? These questions can tell whether the manufacturer has a basic change process. If the response is vague, the project may be reworked later because a change is out of sync.
Structural changes will affect airflow and pressure loss, and manufacturers should be able to review fan matching simultaneously when drawings are changed. Instead of just changing the overall dimensions, re-confirm whether the working point is still within the usable range.
Being able to provide complete machine test records that are consistent with the order drawings and explain the air volume, static pressure and power conditions during the test can better illustrate production capabilities than just listing the equipment list.
You can ask the manufacturer to provide a sample test record of a similar project and look at a few key points: Are the air volume, external static pressure, rotation speed and filter status clearly marked under the test conditions? Do the test results correspond to the order drawings? Are the noise measurement distance and working conditions explained? If a test record only has the word 'qualified' and no specific data and conditions, the reference value of this record is limited.
Non-standard projects should also be able to trace who confirmed the changes to the outlet, foundation and control interfaces. Complete change records indicate that the manufacturer has basic process management capabilities.
The air volume, pressure, power and noise of the complete machine should indicate the corresponding test conditions. The electrical control should also be able to check start and stop, speed regulation and alarm. The supplier can map the test records to specific models and orders to facilitate installation, acceptance and future maintenance.
Some manufacturers provide parts sample data, not complete machine test data. The air volume and static pressure on the fan sample is the performance of the fan under standard test conditions, not the performance of the complete machine after it is installed in the box and connected to the filter section. The difference between the two is the internal loss of the box, the outlet dynamic angle and the filter section resistance. If the manufacturer can provide complete machine test data, it means that it has the ability to test the complete machine, not just assembly.
Electrical wiring diagrams, control instructions, parts lists, factory records and debugging baselines will all affect subsequent maintenance. Multiple equipment projects should also clarify the unified model and spare parts compatibility range to reduce the difficulty of on-site identification and replacement.
The manufacturer can be required to provide the following information upon delivery: electrical wiring diagram, terminal definitions, driver parameter table, fault code description, key spare parts list, complete machine test records and debugging baseline data. These information are complete and have a basis for subsequent maintenance. If there is only a general manual and no specific parameters for this project, on-site maintenance will be very passive.
Aili Industrial has supporting production capabilities in fans, motors, controls and sheet metal links. evaluate itsWhen producing fan box products , the project drawings, working points and test requirements are still used to form the delivery basis, so that manufacturing capabilities can be transformed into inspectable results.
The advantage of independent matching is that working point analysis, structural design, motor matching and complete machine testing can be completed within the same system. The matching relationship between the impeller and the motor is not known after outsourcing and assembly, but is checked during the design stage. The air path and filter section space inside the box can be considered at the drawing stage, and there is no need to adjust it after the equipment is completed. The whole machine test data corresponds to the final delivered configuration, not the superposition of parts samples.
