The inventory period, installed life and warranty period of chemical filters have different meanings. The inventory period involves the applicable arrangements under specified storage conditions, the installed life span involves the actual pollution load, and the warranty is based on a clear agreement. The three cannot replace each other. The three dates are often used interchangeably, but each handles different things.
The inventory period usually refers to the usable period of the filter element from production to installation under specified packaging and storage conditions. It focuses on whether the media maintains its original performance in an unused state and whether seals, packaging, etc. are still in usable condition. The starting point of the inventory period is the production date and the end point is before installation, and the actual operating load is not involved in the middle. For filter elements that have exceeded the inventory period, the status needs to be determined based on packaging, storage records and product descriptions, not just the date. Regarding the installation judgment of expired filter elements, please refer toCan the chemical filter still be installed if it has expired?。
Installed life refers to the time that after the filter element is installed, the outlet can maintain compliance with the actual air volume, inlet concentration and operating time. It depends on the target gas, concentration, temperature and humidity, air volume and operating shifts. It is a dynamic result linked to actual working conditions, rather than a fixed value. The installed life of the same filter element in different projects may vary greatly. The end of the installed life is usually determined by export testing or capacity judgment, and cannot be calculated based on the inventory period or warranty period. Regarding the impact of load on life, please refer toCan the cycle be extended after the chemical filter contamination load decreases?。
The warranty period is the manufacturer's agreed range of product quality, which usually involves the guarantee of materials, workmanship or performance under agreed conditions. The starting point, coverage and exclusions of the warranty period should be confirmed based on the contract or product description. The warranty period is not equal to the installed life: during the warranty period, the filter element may penetrate early due to high load or usage conditions exceeding the agreement; after the warranty period, the filter element may still be working normally. If an abnormality occurs during the warranty period, the cause should be determined based on installation, operation and testing records, rather than directly attributed to product quality.
The inventory period is calculated from the production date, the installed life is calculated from the installation and operation, and the warranty period may be calculated from the delivery, installation or acceptance according to the contract. The different starting points mean that the three dates cannot be converted to each other. For example, if a filter element is in stock for one year before being installed, the inventory period has been consumed for one year, but the installed life starts from the time of installation; if the warranty period starts from shipment, part of it may have passed before installation. The production date, installation date and warranty start date should be kept in the project records to facilitate subsequent judgment.
We will explain the three concepts of inventory period, installed life and warranty period separately during the matching process to prevent customers from using one date to calculate another. Aili Industry can provide selection packages for box-type, flat-plate and V-type chemical filtration products. For box-type MAU packages, please refer toMAU box type chemical filter , product series can be viewedChemical filter product range . The V-shaped structure provides a larger filtration area in the same box space, which helps control surface speed and resistance after installation, and is of reference significance for life span judgment. Device-side applications can useChemical filter FFU type, integrated chemical adsorption layer withHEPA/ULPA filter particle filtration, the replacement record of the filter element at the equipment end can be managed according to the micro-environment maintenance rhythm. The manufacturing end covers independent R&D and production of motors and fans, control systems, sheet metal and complete machine assembly. Filter element storage requirements, installation interfaces and replacement arrangements can be confirmed in the same package, and configuration records can be retained for non-standard specifications. The specific gas effect, applicable environment and replacement cycle still need to be verified based on the corresponding configuration data and on-site working conditions. The actual results are subject to on-site leak detection and gas detection results.
The stock expiration date has expired, but it has not been opened. Can it still be used?
It cannot be directly determined to be available. Packaging integrity, storage conditions and product descriptions should be checked, and status or performance verification is recommended for key items.
If the filter element fails during the warranty period, is it necessarily a quality problem?
uncertain. Excessive load, bypass installation, moisture or usage conditions exceeding the agreement may lead to premature failure, and the reasons should be determined based on records.
Can the installed lifespan be estimated based on the warranty period?
cannot. The warranty period is the agreed range, and the installed life depends on the actual working conditions. The two have different meanings.
