Checking the boxes one by one can avoid misinstallation. Check for shipping damage

For large-size products, you can measure the diagonal. For liquid tank sealing products, you also need to check the flatness of the tank body. These inspections are uncomplicated but can reveal deformations that are not easily noticeable to the naked eye.

The sealing structure should be checked and confirmed

The sealing method is an item that is easily missed during arrival inspection.

For gasket-sealed products, check whether the gasket is displaced, broken or compressed and deformed. For liquid tank sealing products, check the size of the tank body and the condition of the four corners to make sure it can match the knife edge of the installation frame. If products with different sealing structures are mixed in the same batch, confirm which installation positions they correspond to to avoid installation errors. Whether the interfaces of the installation frame and the filter element match, it is best to check once upon arrival rather than waiting until installation.

Linking data with field records

Test reports, certificates, and packing lists must be kept in correspondence with the physical item number.

It is recommended to establish a simple comparison table: product number, installation location, test report number, and arrival date. After the installation is completed, the measured air volume, pressure difference and on-site leak detection results are associated with the same number to form a complete traceability file.

What to do when problems are discovered

Save to pre-installation management

Filter elements that have been accepted but not yet installed shall be stored according to the supplier's requirements.

The original packaging still has a protective effect during storage and is not recommended to be removed in advance. Warehouse stacking is operated according to the number of layers allowed for packaging to avoid additional loads on the underlying products. In high-humidity seasons, attention should also be paid to packaging getting damp. Specific storage requirements can be confirmed based on the temperature and humidity conditions of the warehouse.

In terms of spare parts management, match the product number with the location of the applicable equipment to avoid temporarily using filter elements that are similar in size but have different sealing structures. This is especially important in warehouses with multiple specifications and locations.
